I never even knew that a white BBQ Sauce could ever exist. But here we are! This sauce is not really over the top at all. It pairs extremely well on some chicken whether you smoke it or not (I recommend smoking it). You could throw it on top of some Spatchcock Chicken.

The sauce truly is a southern gem from you guessed it Alabama. Most standard BBQ sauces you will find in a store are tomato based whereas this one is a mayo base. Add in some vinegar and you get that creamy and tanginess to the sauce.

The sauce can be seasoned with various additions such as horseradish, black pepper and other spices to create a unique flavor profile unlike anything else. Some additions that I would recommend adding in would be cumin and Cajun seasoning. In my own recipe I like the addition of honey to help balance things out. If you want to have some more smokiness to the sauce you could also add in a tsp of liquid smoke to the recipe or a half tablespoon of smoked paprika.

Not only is it great on top of chicken like I mentioned but also it can double up as a dipping sauce if you like.
